Recipes- Cherry cake
Ingredients:
150 g of butter or margarine, 150 g of powdered sugar, 3 egg yolks, 1 bag of Dr. Oetker bourbon vanilla sugar, 200 g of flour, 2 teaspoons of Dr. Oetker baking powder, 100 ml of milk, 3 egg whites, 350 g of cherries (can also be drained jam).
Decoration:
Mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
Mix the butter, powdered sugar, bourbon vanilla sugar and egg yolk until smooth, then mix in the milk and flour mixed with baking powder. Mix with a food processor (beater) for at least 3 minutes. Beat the egg whites into stiff peaks and carefully fold them into the mixture. Pour into a greased cake tin (24 cm) and sprinkle the cherry on top. After baking, let the cake cool down. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar mixture.
Baking temperature: 170°C (bottom-top baking preheated)
Baking time: approx. 40-45 minutes
